I think part of me died reading that brief story. I lost two nephews in four days two plus years ago, and both were children. This horrifies me, and I am going to now hug my daughter until she tells me to stop.

I am a girl (duh by the name) who has the game (any game) on before my husband does, so I never have to put up with the Super Bowl, I live for it...lol. So much for that stereotype!

cg...my sister fought and won non-Hodgkins lymphoma when she was 15, and now is 40 with two kids (they said she would never have) and a wonderful husband. Best of luck to your brother-in-law! This battle can be won!

If the kid is so fragile that she can be killed by a peanut, well, that's unfortunate but she'd be no great loss to the species. If that were your child, would you feel the same? Nephew, niece? Do you have kids? Empathy of any kind?

We have a truck, and a commuter car. I work at home, so my "commute" is simply taking my daughter to school and picking her up, therefore I drive the truck, and a tank usually lasts between 2-3 weeks. My husband drives further and drives the commuter car.

I took my 9 year old daughter to the ER a few weeks back with symptoms of what everyone thinks is a heart attack. She is thin, tall, and very active. They did an EKG, X-rays etc, and I was obviously frantic.
